Do you think I should get more opinions on this matter before wiping everything clean, Or is there a software I can use to recover those files if they arent formatted just undetectable by windows.
![]() Bootcamp Cannot Find Software I CanWhen I run command prompt and list the disks I see that the ram is freed up. Bootcamp Cannot Find Upgrade My DriversAll I have done in windows, is run anti virus software, and upgrade my drivers using IO Driver Booster. Does anyone have a clue on how I can resolve this issue without losing my files, (if i have not done so already). Ive seen that happen before when someone formats the wrong partition when setting up Windows via Boot Camp. Before I updated the drivers from IO Driver booster, I switched back to mac OS a few times. I tried to reinstall OSx but the only partition is allows me to do it on is the current windows 120gb. Do you think installing a new MACOS would resolve anything Or do you think its a bug from windows end not being able to properly read macOS files, because I tried Internet Recovery or w.e Command R - brings up mac features bar so I dont know what to think right now. The 450 MB partition should be your macOS Recovery partition. You normally should be able to boot to this by holding down Command R. And lastly, the 120.60 GB is Windows. I hope someone can figure out how you can either reinstall macOS or if its still there, get it to boot. I shall try command R again and attempt a recovery, I think last i checked it didnt allow me to do so or it didnt show any other partition. If the 450 MB partition is MacOS recovery, why does it have NTFS as its File System NTFS can only be read by windows. ![]() A Recovery partition on a Mac should be formatted to a Mac format. Which again leads me to believe macOS was overwritten during the Boot Camp process. I believe member Meghz is probably going to have completely wipe that drive and reinstall macOS. That will mean a loss of data but without a backup theres not much else one can do. Also ive noticed when I went to Internet Recovery, clicking reinstall OS doesnt allow me to install it on the 350gig partition. Also that when I updated PCI express drivers could this have caused it to now allow me to switch to macOS when pression options.
